What My Home Means To Me

My home is my safe place, the place I can feel happy and comfortable at and I don't have to hide in my shell. I can be myself. My living room is where me and my family laugh, watch shows, make jokes and have fun. In my kitchen I can smell cinnamon rolls and fresh baked cookies. It smells like a bakery. My kitchen is also where me and my nanny bake when she comes to visit us. It's a place I eat with my family and help my mom and dad bake and cook. We make so many memories that I can look back and smile at. My home was never just a building to me, it's my safe place, my comfort place and the place I can be myself at. My family and I make so many memories, especially me and my sister. I used to think a home and a house were the same exact thing but now I can see the difference. My favourite place to be is my room where I do arts and crafts and hang them on my walls or I eat snacks and watch my favourite show. It's the place I feel safest at because it's my own space and I feel safe. It makes me feel so happy that this is my home not just a house, all of my other houses we only lived there for a few months and had so many issues and now which is why we kept moving out and i kept changing schools and now finally we found a home that we will be staying and I’m grateful and happy that we moved here because made so many memories.
