Story of My Home
When I was just born, I didn’t have a home yet, but then we arrived to my house shortly later, and I could tell it was my home! Everything was ready for me to be there, and it was definatly a really amazing home. I even had two pets, a cat and a dog, that made me feel more at home.
When I was two, we moved out of our home, and I wasn’t really sad. Although I had everything I wanted in my home, this one was going to have the same stuff, in a bigger, warmer home!!! This new house was immediately my new home, and that’s what I decided.
When I was four, I noticed the benefits of a new home, because I made my first friends. I made 2 different friends, and I had so much fun playing outside with them!!! And then I noticed, I could just make more friends!!!
When I was five, I did just that, when I met a new friend and his brother. They were just as good friends, and whenever we had the chance, we all went outside, and either played tag, or went sledding in the winter. This year, I also started school, and at first I was scared to go, but then I didn’t, and I even made a group of friends there, and then school became home to me!
When I was seven, two of my friends moved out, and I felt like home wasn’t home anymore, but it was still home, and I just had to learn some friends don't stay. But in the meantime, I got to grade one, and because of many reasons, I was homeschooled, and it was so much fun!!!
When I was eight, another one of my friends moved out, but I got over with it quickly, because I learned from last time. Also, I went back to school, and I was in grade 2, but I had an amazing teacher, and I was ready for next year!!!
When I was nine, my cat passed away, and I was very sad for a while, but I ended up moving on, and not much else happened when I was nine.
When I was ten, I had a new teacher, new class, and school was no longer my home. But luckily, I got invited to a gifted program!!! I was so excited to go to the gifted class, but I still had to wait a year.
When I was eleven, I was finally in the gifted class, and it was amazing!!! It changed my life, I made new friends, but most importantly, it became home to me!!!
Remember, everyone has a home, even if you don’t have a house, and also remember, even if you have a really rich house, sometimes it isn’t your home...
