Home

Home should be a place of joy, Home could be a childhood toy. A home could be something small, A home doesn’t have to be physical at all. A home isn’t something you can buy, A home is a place you shouldn’t have to hide. A home should be a safe place, A home should bring a smile to your face. Home is a place of memories, Home is something you would want to keep for centuries. Home is a place you shouldn’t feel shy, Home is a place you aren’t afraid to try. Home is a place you like to be, Home to you could be underneath a certain tree. Home could be your front door, Home could be your kitchen floor. Home is a place you family is, Home is a place you would miss. Home is where you aren’t ashamed to be yourself, Home could be a trophy on your shelf Your home could be big or small, short or tall After reading this poem through, think about the objects, memories, people, and places that mean home to you.
