Have you ever thought of what Home means to you?

Have you ever thought about what home means to you? Because I just did. I am going to tell you some ideas of what home means to me. First, traditions. My family has a lot of traditions like making cookies for Santa, playing board games, movie nights, and more! But there are some that stick out more than others like, PARTIES! We host a lot of parties (or at least it feels like a lot). We only host two parties a year but occasionally we host 3 or 4. The first party that we host is a new years eve party (which I guess is the first one of the year and the last one if you think about it). That one is always fun. The second one is a Halloween party. That is my favourite one. I love Halloween. We used to host my great grandmother's birthday on January 1 but then, sadly she passed away just last month. The other tradition that sticks out to me is sledding on my hill. We have a fairly big hill and we always have friends and family come over for sledding parties (which I guess is 2 more parties added to the list). That is always super fun too. Another thing that home means to me is comfortness. That is always a key topic when it comes to my home. I am always feeling comfortable. I am very grateful that I have a loving family that cares about me! I love alone time but I also love spending time with them. My family is a family of 4 and I wouldn't want it any other way. I am so glad that I have a brother because I personally wouldn’t want to be an only child. My parents give both me and my brother equal love and attention. And that is another reason why I love my home, because of the people that I live in it with. The last thing that home means to me is safety. That is the most important thing, having a roof over your head, walls for privacy, and a floor to walk on. I am so grateful that I have a house and even a shelter to live in. My house is very special to me because we have done a lot of renovations and now I really like the interior of it. Our house is really meaningful. Those are just some of the reasons of what home means to me. I hope this made you think of what home means to you, and make you reflect on just how lucky you are to have a roof over your head, and a floor to walk on.
