The Meaning of Home

A home is a place where you can feel safe or a place with loved ones. A house is a temporary home. You can buy a house but you can’t buy a home. Say you live in the USA and you move to Canada. Your home is still in the USA but you live in Canada. You can change a house but you can’t change a home. A home is near and dear to your heart. You can have a home town but you can’t have a house town. A home is a warm and cozy place. A house is a living place and a home is a place that is somewhere like Newfoundland or Texas. Homes = happiness and houses = shelter. A home is a place that holds memories. A house is a shelter, a place to protect you. A lot of people do not have a house and a lot of people have an unsafe home. Some people call loved ones home. Some kids use school as a safe place/home. Houses can be bad and dangerous. My home is in Newfoundland and Labrador. 8 billion people on earth and almost 1 billion are homeless. Habitat for Humanity helps homeless people by making affordable houses. A cozy home is a good home. A dangerous home is a bad home. But home and houses are not so different. A few people would disagree and that's ok. But hey we all aren't the same :)
