Meaning of Home

My meaning of home, is a place where I could relax and be calm. First of all, one of my hobbies is painting. I love to paint sunsets, the colours blend together. Secondly, practicing piano makes me feel happy and calm, hearing different keys playing together sounds peaceful and l can be myself. Thirdly, I love baking cookies by myself. The measurement doesn't need to be exact but I like to feel and be independent. Following, Home feels like dancing to my favourite songs. It makes me feel confident and optimistic. I am glad to sleep in a warm, cozy environment and be able to talk and connect with my family and friends. Home feels like jumping on my bed when l am angry, playing with my friends at my home. It makes me feel welcomed and happy when my mom makes me food when l have a bad day, or when me and my older brother play video games together. I am lucky to have friends that l could share my feelings to. I call my dad everyday after school and tell him about my day. I feel joyful when I have a sleepover because it makes me feel uplifted and laughter and smiles fill the room. Being able to connect with people and my family, and playing music is everything to me. Working on my homework late at night, sipping on a cup of hot cocoa is the dream. On the weekends I watch a movie with my family! I think what home means to me is just a safe, healthy environment where everyone has a space to relax and study. I thank Habitat for Humanity for making homes for people who don't have a home. Thank you for reading my paragraph of what home means to me!
