Home Isn't Just...

Home isn’t just a building or a place to go. It’s a place where you get loved unconditionally by the people who love you. For example my home is a place where love, laughter, kindness and joy comes from and never gets lost. When I walk in my home I hear giggles, people talking, laughter and my excited dog waiting by the front door, slobbering all over my face and wagging her tail up and down and all around. Home isn’t just a building to me it’s a place where I can rely on most days whether I’m feeling sad, mad or a bit too much somedays. When I walk into my home I smell my mom’s cooking filling the air. Her famous rice and pasta. It’s even the smallest things that makes me enjoy life. I’ve had plenty of great memories, moments and even traditions in my home. My home might not be as pretty, fancy or even as cool like yours, but all I care about is the people who I live it with. The memories, the inside jokes the people who are there for me even when I feel like I’m not even myself anymore. The people who encourage me. I love my family and I know that they loves me too. Home isn’t just a building or a place to go, it’s the place where I feel loved, safe and happy. Home isn’t just a building or a place to go it’s a place. Where I can just feel like myself.
