What Home is to Me

Home is not just a place that I live, it is a place where I can be myself where I feel loved and warm inside! Home to me is a place where love fills the air,where I feel like I belong, where I feel calm. When I think about home I think of the smell of my mom making supper in the evening, the smell filling the air, making me and my brother's mouth water. Home is my safe place where people don't be mean to me where I can be me. Family is not the only thing that makes a home, friends do too! Friends are a big part of a home. Another thing about my home is that I do not always agree with my family but that do not mean that I do not love them or I hate them. Everybody doesn't agree sometimes that is just how it works, that's a part of relationships. A house is made from sticks and stones but only love can make a home that's what home is to me. A home is my relaxing place where love rules! Home is a place where I can dream the biggest dreams! Home is where laughter fills the air. When I think about home I think about my dad recording his songs, he's Casket Kye. Home is where I can talk all about my day at school where nothing bad matters. Think about this home is my ice cream and the sprinkles are my family and love is the cherry on top. It makes the perfect ice cream. Nothing can change how it is, love just makes it better. No matter how bad your day is, home is the best place for me. Coming home to family and friends is the best part of my day. It's not just where I keep shelters and where I keep warm it's a place where I feel happy no matter what people say I will be me and no one can take that away from me if I'm home! When I wake up in the morning at home I look out my window and I see the beautiful sunrise to start a new wonderful day for a new wonderful journey. No matter what happens at my home it will always be my home, nothing can change that. Memories also make a home. No matter how far I am from home it will always be my home. No matter how many times you move you will always find a safe place where you can call home. Whether or not it's a building you will always find a place to call home.
