What is a Home?

What does the word home exactly mean? Home is a place you go to for comfort and shelter. It’s where close people like your family live. A home does not always have to be a building; maybe it’s a fun beach or a peaceful, calm pond or even a tent. It’s a place you know you belong. Where my life’s story is made. Every day a new page unfolds. A place where feelings like love, hope, and happiness reigns within, things that money can not buy. Everyone has a place in this world. We are so lucky to be in a house and have shelter when the weather becomes harsh. Photos hanging on the wall, like flashbacks of memories. Home is like a big, warm hug. A home is necessary for all living things, for those who live in burrows or way up high in the treetops. A home is needed for survival. Homes without love can be lonely and quite lonely. A home can be a place full of hatred, or it can be like heaven. It’s for you to decide. It’s your choice that makes a difference. Everyone deserves a home. The meaning of home is a place full of encouragement and love. Controlled by the choices and actions you do.
