What Home Means to Me

Home; a place where you feel welcome, and a place where you have a sense of belonging. A house is just made from bricks and concrete. A home is made of love; love among the family. I am very fortunate to have a loving home, parents and a younger brother. We go to many activities together. We have a large backyard, where we play. A house is just made from bricks and concrete. A home is made of love and support among those who live in it. We have parents who value education and help us grow up to be good citizens of the world. We are encouraged to help with some household chores such as making our beds and taking our plates to the kitchen. This makes us feel more responsible. Additionally, we read books and do our school work. We have food to keep us healthy and strong, and a warm bed to sleep in at night. In conclusion, my home is loving, safe and secure, and a shelter from storms.
