A Place Where I Belong

Home and house are two entirely different things, But what is the difference? You see… Home is the warm melody that makes me smile, It's the beat that keeps me running for miles. Home is a place where I can loosen my thoughts, And make happy memories to think back on. When life somewhere new isn't going my way, At home there's always someone to brighten my day. Home is the warmth in a cup of sweet hot cocoa, on a cold winter’s day, Playing my trumpet in the spring and going to concerts to play. Life is a roller coaster with no sense of direction, But after everything, time is the affection. Home is belonging, a place to feel loved. A house on the other hand, is a shelter from rain, A place to reset and sometimes feel pain. Everyone deserves a house of their own form, That's why one day l hope we’ll make that the norm. So thank you Habitat for Humanity for providing shelter for those who need it, to make a better world for us to succeed.
