Home is very important and special

Did you know home is more special than you think? Home isn’t just a place. It’s an important and special place that makes you feel loved and cared for, safe and sound, helps you stay alive when needed, and lets you be yourself. I will tell you 3 great reasons why home is special and important! First of all, home makes me feel cared for and loved. My family helps me to make me feel supported. If my family hugs me a lot after a big day at school, I know they love me and miss me while I'm at school learning. My family always knows when I'm feeling down. Secondly, home makes me safe everyday because there’s a roof over my head and big walls so the hot heat of the summer and icy winter cold doesn't affect me at all. There’s a floor so that wet and muddy dirt doesn't get on my feet when I walk around to get my dinner or just to sleep on my cozy warm bed. Last, home keeps me alive for as long as possible, because I’m safe and protected. Home makes me safe from bad weather like thunderstorms that could strike lightning at any moment. Home keeps me healthy from any disease that has spread around town. At home, people love and care for you everyday. Home isn’t just a place with lots of things, home has everything you need so you can live a wonderful life. You have all the love and happiness you need. Not everything is about TV, sleeping, and eating. It's about having fun and letting life go the way you want it to so you never waste any time. Home is the best!! To me, home means safety, love, and protection no matter what happens.
