Home is a Safe Place
Home is the place where I'm happy and safe. I can do my dancing in the living room with my stepmom who’s always there when I need her most. She’s there when I need someone. There when I'm sad, there when I'm happy. She knows how to make me happy. But I also like being alone in my room. And she knows when I need space. She knows when I need her or my cat. She knows what I like. She knows I like painting, singing, dancing, and being alone. She knows I love Greenland food. She also knows I love my iguana. I love when my dad makes homemade food. My home is comfy, warm, nice, and sweet. I love when my sister plays volleyball with me. It's fun taking my dog for a walk in the summer and going out on my Paddle board. Home to me is where I'm always loved and taken care of and also wanted. I'm never alone in anything. Everything feels easier with my dad, it goes better with my stepmom. I love her so much. She's the reason I keep going everyday and feel like giving up but she powers me through. I used to feel like it didn't matter but now with her everything feels right again. She makes it right like it feels better with her every passing day. I can't wait to make so many more memories with her. I love waking up in the morning and seeing her cleaning the floor and seeing my dad out on skidoo. It makes me happy to see life going better than I planned. I feel like I'm worth something in my family. Life doesn't always go as planned but family always makes it better. Life just goes a little smoother when the day goes how you want it to go. Life is awesome but some days can be bad but I always have my home as a safe place where I can play with my cat and Veronica. Home is my place, my love. Where I feel amazing. Where Veronica can do my nails and my hair. We can dance and sing around the living room and everyone is happy. It's like a nice hug wrapped around me and won't let go. It's like I'm in a place I can't let go of where I'm happy or where I'm sad . It doesn't matter what I'm feeling, I'm always going feel something in my home. It's like I'm wrapped around my home and I can't let go of it. I can move from house to house in different cities and different towns but my home will always be with me. I can move hours, days, or even weeks away from my home but it will always be with me no matter how far I go. My home is my home. It will be with me through my rough times and my good times. The pictures on the wall are like little photo books on a wall. Home is a safe place. My safe place.
