What is home?

What is home? Home. Sitting on my futon crocheting, listening to music I can hear my siblings fighting, I breathe in and out. I hear my mom come home from work and start making dinner. I can smell it in the air. My dad comes home on fridays hugging us from a long week at work he usually brings home cookies. My older brother gets home from the gym and goes straight to his room to play video games. My older sister comes from playing with her friends and goes up to her room. I feel happy and safe around my family. Fun. My mom is home. I ask her to call my friends and see if they can come over while I’m waiting I watch and play with my little sister. Later I call my friends to play roblox. My little brother joins in with us. It's always fun. I love tricking my little brother and scaring my little sister. I start scrolling through videos. I see a funny one and show it to my siblings. I have other stuff like, skating, playing outside, watching, playing video games and sometimes my mom and dad take us places. My family is fun. Relaxing. Laying on my bed watching videos I am relaxing. My sister wants to watch TV with her so I grab my stuff and watch with her. I am crocheting on our futon. I get bored and tell my little sister I’m leaving. I go back into my room and listen to music on my headphones. I almost fall asleep so I go get water. I go into the stuffy room to lay and watch, my sister tries to come in but I tell her to go. I put on my headphones and calm down. I am calm. This is home and I love it.
