Home is where my heart is

Home is more than four walls and a roof. To me, home is a place where we all share our feelings with each other. Maybe happy, maybe funny, maybe sad. But whatever feeling it is I know me home and my home will always be there when I need it most. To you home can be different. It can be wherever you feel at home. It can be a friend’s home, a cousin’s home, just wherever you feel at home. At my home, we share our love with family, relatives, and whoever comes by! At my home, the second I step through the door I can smell all the wonderful food waiting to be eaten. Home is a place where stories and memories are told. Like the time I pushed my cousin into the wall and when he started crying, I put myself though the same pain and bonked my head against it too. But thinking about all those warm and fuzzy moments makes me think…What about the people who don’t have a warm and safe place to go to? Having a home should be a right not a privilege. And that’s why I thank Habitat For Humanity for trying to give everyone a safe and cozy place to go to.
