My Home

For me, my home is much more than a building and having furniture. It is looking at the family's pictures every day, smiling at the smell of my mom and sister baking cookies and making me feel safe. My brother and I play sports together and laugh with so much joy. My favourite place in my home is my living room because me and my mom love to watch the tv, especially the winter olympics and cheering for Canada and sometimes we eat cheesy, delicious beef nachos together while celebrating. Another part of my home that I love is my backyard because I have so many memories because that is where I found out that I got my first dog Maggi. It was my stepmother holding her in the backyard, I was in shock and that made me so happy. And I also have a hot tub and that is where I relax in the summer with my cousin. Her name is Olivia. Things I love are the smells in my home. I always smell my dad making tacos and my sister and my mom baking delicious desserts. Usually when it is the weekend, we eat a big breakfast like eggs, cheese, bacon and fruit and maybe sometimes orange juice. I love the smell of my mom or dad washing the clothes.
