What Does Home Means To You?

A home is a very important place to me. It is a place with peace, comfort, love, happiness and nutritious meals. After a long, tired and busy day at school, the only place I want to be is at home where it’s quiet and peaceful. Thus, as soon as I get home, I take a warm bath, relax and get ready to do my homework. However, home gives comfort when you relax in your soft couch or laying in your soft comfortable bed with your soft pillow. Also, it is comfortable when relaxing with your family and watching a movie on the television. Especially, when I am having a bad day, feeling sick or feeling for a hug from my mom; I can’t wait to go home and feel that beautiful and precious love. When I get that precious hug wrapped in my mothers’ arms, I can feel the love running through my entire heart and that's home to me. I love my mother so much. However, the happiness I feel from home fills my body with so much joy. I feel so happy when my whole family comes over for special dinners. We celebrate lots of special holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas and those are my very happy times. Also, my mom cooks the most nutritious and delicious meals; when I smell the food that my mom cooks, I feel the hunger inside my stomach. Finally, my home is my happy place where I can be alone spending time with God in prayer.
