Home is the Heart.

Home is not a place to be taken for granted. It is a place of comfort and Safety. Home is not just a thing. It is a sanctuary. A place to be when you are down. In my home we are welcome. We respect one another. We do things as one united family. Because fighting is not a way to show your love. A house and a home are two very different things. A house is just a building. But home is the heart and soul of your family. It holds stories of your parents. You. When you move those memories don’t stay in your old house, they come with you to help you make new memories. Your home can be anywhere. Your home, Your grandparent’s home, or even your friend’s home. That’s because home is wherever you feel happy, safe, and brave to be yourself. People sometimes think that having a home is a privilege. It’s not. Having a home is a right that everyone deserves. Everyone deserves a warm meal, a hot shower, and a comfy bed. That is the truth. Sometimes we forget that home is not a building. It is a person. A part of our family. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for providing in-need families with a place to call home.
