5 senses of home

Home is like sitting by the fireplace wrapped in a big cozy blanket. Within the walls of home there are memories , hopes and dreams , milestones , love , and traditions that you and your family share. Home feels like the breeze through my hair on a hot summer day. Home smells like my grandma’s fresh baked cookies, chocolaty, sweet, and you can smell the sea salt on top. Home sounds like the laughter of the people you love, the joy of your family when you’re all together. Home looks like the beautiful sun setting over the mountains. Home tastes like a batch of brownies straight out of the oven warm and chocolaty. As soon as I open the door to my home I feel all these memories come back to me , and I’m ready to make new memories in my home. It makes me realize how lucky I am to have a wonderful home like the one I have. When I think of home I think of my family, my friends, and my dog. Home brings families closer because you get to spend quality time together and share memories in your home. Everyone deserves a home and Home for humanity can make that happen.
