My Home Isn’t Just A Shelter

My home isn’t just a shelter. It’s somewhere my family and I celebrate birthdays, play games, and hang out. Many people think it’s just where my needs are, although it’s where beautiful memories are kept unharmed. As soon as I step inside my home, I feel the happiness spread around me like a dove. The lights shimmer down on me, and I can smell the scrumptious aroma of delicacies. My couch isn’t just any ordinary couch; it’s somewhere we communicate with each other. The couch is like a blackhole sucking away all my stress as I sit down. Those pictures on the walls are happy memories. They show lots of love and care. The pictures sit there like a piece of art in a gallery, devouring all the attention. Living at home makes me feel welcome. There can be so many different activities to do in just one Honorable place. I always feel sad whenever I move. That’s because you lose what you remember. It’s like a boat sailing to a storm. Although, it’s quite interesting to move since I always admire antiques and designs. Windows are lovely, especially if you live in the mountains. Every time I wake up, the gorgeous sun beams on my window. The tree looks freshly plucked like mint bubblegum. During winter, my family and I wrap our bodies in blankets and drink warm hot chocolate. We always see snowflakes falling magically down the starry night sky. That makes me feel like I’m in a snow globe. Festivals and holidays are already amazing by itself. Well, my home lets us celebrate amazing celebrations. That’s conjoined with laughter and sympathy. This is why I’m so grateful for Habitat For Humanity to build homes for those in need. It’s awesome.
