The Real Meaning Of Home
Most people think of home as a house or a building, but home can be anything or even anyone. Home to me feels like somewhere I feel comfortable, even hanging out with friends, whether it's the feeling of my dogs lying on top of me while I try to sleep, or even if it's my mom lighting a new candle. Anything can be home, even if it's not your actual home. It can even be my brothers making food in the morning, or before we go to a party, my mom is making Italian desserts at the last minute. Home is where you feel safe, acknowledged, trusted, and cared for. You should never feel unsafe in your home or with the people in your home. And lastly, home can even just be a hug; hugs can mean the entire world to someone. This is what I think a home is for me, obviously, some people might not think the same, but this is what I think a home is.
