Home is my cozy place…

My home is small but cozy,but other houses might be a campervan, large house, or an apartment. My home is a calm place where I can relax close to my small white fluffy dog with an apricot colour spot on her head. The smell of my home closely resembles warm home cooked cookies and cold maple syrup straight from the fridge. Home reminds me of my family of three gathered around a circular table playing board games. During cold winter months I love to get in a warm blanket and huddle up close to my fireplace. A house can be a structure or a lifeless building.But a home is a place for teaching, living, and a safe place for me. Whatever home is like for you. Maybe close to your cat or dog. Or doing a job you enjoy, keep doing what you're doing. Thank you Habitat for humanity for building homes for people who need it most. For whoever is reading this, thank you for taking the time to read my story. In my heart, home is more than just a building, more than just a word. Home is family.
