What Home Means to Me

Hi this story is going to be about what home means to me. Get ready ! Mom: “Ugh, I'm tired of you expecting me to do everything here!” Dad: “Well it not my fault you dont communicate with me [pushes table]” June : “Well this is my life, a weird way to start but yeah you can call me June. And this is how I live my life. I always have to hear my parents fight. I'm getting tired of people that think my life is great just because I’ m rich but, none of this means anything to me. What it means to me is just my mom and dad not fighting just for one night, because my dad always throws objects around and I get really scared and feel unsafe. I just hope this stops one day.” Mom :”Honey! Come and pack your lunch!” June: “Coming!” Dad: “Bye!” June: “Bye!” Mom: “whispers, Ugh.” June: “Bye! Mom, I'm going to school.” Mom: “Bye! Honey [Door slams].” Mia: “Hey! Gir! Oh what happened to you. June: “I'm just having a bad day [ June's thoughts] I can’t really tell her what's happening or else my parents will probably get in trouble.” Mia: “ Are you sure you're ok ? You look down today.” June : Yeah im fine[ Bell rings] Mia: “Oh gotta get to class, see you at lunch!” [June also walks to class] Ms. Briggs : “ Hello class, how was your weekend.” [Everyone except for June] Good! Ms.Briggs: “ Well that’s great to hear!” Ms. Briggs : “Oh Shot! I forgot it was a gym period. You guys can just go on your own.” [After gym class] [ bell rings ] Mia: “Hey!” June: “Hi! ” Mia: “I have a crush wanna know?” June: “Yes!” Mia: “Its Domian” June: Ugh him, bro there are so many other people and you chose him? Mia: “Yeah why?” June: “He's ugly”. Mia: No He’s not [Bell rings]. Mia: “Bye!” Ms. Tia: “Mia, can you get the paper from the printer.” Mia: “Yeah sure!” Mia: “Got the papers!” Ms. Tia: “Thank you, alright class I’m going to handout the Mean, Median, and Mode worksheet and remember we learned about this last week so do you guys need a review?” [Everyone] : “No”. Ms.Tia: “Alright then, you can start please be welcome to ask for help.” [ Bellrings] Bye class see you tomorrow. June: “I'm home! Oh Dad, you're here early. Dad: Yeah, How was school? June: “School was great. But ,I wanna tell you guys something.” Dad and Mom: “What”. June: “ Can you just stop fighting for once please because it makes me sad and scared when you guys fight!” Mom and Dad: “Oh we didn’t know it made you feel that way we will stop and just talk with each other.” June: “ Thank’s now this is home!”
