The Feeling of Home

There are many houses in the world, but the thing about a home is the memories you make and the feeling of safety when you walk in the door. You should feel safe, loved, and comfortable in your home. Home is important to me because it is the place I make most of my memories. When I think of my home I remember the feeling when we pull in the driveway, when I walk up the sidewalk and open the door, I am welcomed with the smell of mom’s new candle. When I walk up the stairs I hear the floor boards creak and when I reach the carpet I feel the warmth on my feet. I walk into the living room and see all the family photos on the wall and remember all the movies we watched on the T.V for movie night. I want everyone to have a home because it is important to have a place to have memories and a place to look forward to going after a long day. If I didn’t have a home I would feel lost and like I have no where to go or feel safe. That is why Home is important to me.
