Home Isn't Just a Building With Four Walls and a Roof

Home isn't just a building with four walls and a roof. It's a place I connect with my family. Home is a place where if you walk in you will be greeted by people who love you. Right when I step inside I feel the love even if we don't act like it, I know that I am loved. At night when I jump into bed, inside I know that I am safe. When I get home I share the rough and excellant parts of my day. Home feels like a ray of sunshine beaming down on me. In the morning our home is bustling with my mom trying to leave for work and my dad making me breakfast. Those brief moments are what I love about my home. Home is where I have the best memories of my life. Home is where I learn to love and share my feelings with people like my mom and dad. My home is a protective barrier that keeps me safe from not so nice people. It’s where me and my dad laugh when I rob his shot, home is where I feel safe. Home means to me a safe place to feel emotions and be myself. This is why home isn't just a building with four walls and a roof.
