A House is great, but a home is better!

A house is just a building with walls and doors, but a home is a place where you can let go and be free from any problems or worries. A house is a place you might not be used to the smell, for example, have you ever been to a friend's house and didn't like the smell of their house? A home has a smell I'm so used to that I can't even smell it, unless someone is cooking my favorite meal! A home is not just a place to stay warm and cozy. It is the people inside that make it so special, because they make you laugh, they read stories to you well, my mom did. Have you ever moved to a new house? It might feel different because you're not used to it, but then it begins to become a home where you love, live, and laugh. I remember wandering through the halls trying to find a certain room. If I am at home, I can find the room with my eyes closed. Some of you have pictures on your walls; those are memories of great times, they might be baby pictures, school pictures, or family pictures. In the living room, we tell stories and play board games or maybe even watch a movie with popcorn. In my opinion, the word LIVING in the word living room has a meaning, because it's a place to live freely and have a great time.
