What Is a Home?

What is A Home? by: Cam! “RING, RING!” As the school bell rang, I ran to my bus. As I was running to my bus I was thinking about my home. I was so excited as my bus stopped at home. As soon as I got inside, I ran to mom and hugged her! As we got closer to the kitchen, I smelled her cheesy and creamy alfredo pasta. I quickly ran to the pot and ate it. Home isn’t a home without the love your mom put into the food she took time to make. My home is filled with love and laughter. Home isn't a home without pictures of you on your first vacation. Home is opening presents on Christmas morning bright and early. Home means having movie nights every Friday with popcorn you made and filled with salt which made you think it was from a movie theatre. Home is a great place for you to sleep every night. Home isn’t a home without your dad snoring at night while watching a “boring” movie with him. Home is watching the finals of your favorite sports. My home isn't my home without playing outside with your siblings every season of the year. I live in a home, not a house because I have a have a family that loves me, and siblings to play with. That is a home.
