What is Home?
Home isn’t just a tight rope that bring us close together,
It is where I get happiness and laughter or warmth cozy pillows and blankets. My family is where I get enthusiastic and joyful. It’s where I feel safe, peaceful. When I’m at home, home sounds like Tuesday early breakfast in the morning, Waffles and pancakes.
Home is where it looks like a delightful and soothing place.
Sometimes when I'm at home my little sister gives me sweet, gentle hugs and helps me support myself when I'm upset. Whenever I'm at home I feel like a cup of warm hot chocolate in the living room tightly wrapped around my soft blanket. My home smells like a mixed Japanese sushi sometimes, there could also be a mix of Cantonese restaurant or Chinese gourmet food.
A home is not just a place to live, like being surrounded by love and family. Even eating dinner together with your family or going on an amusement trip. Home means to me, the tv turning on from my little sister. Just like a gazillion of mixed food on the dining table. Like a group of people in a fruit bowl. Home is not flawless, it’s the things my family does everyday, like my little sister’s playroom filled with girly toys, my middle sister playing her saxophone, and my older sister painting her poster. I can hear the sound of my dad celebrating whenever the Oilers score a goal, smelling the cotton candy on the table makes my face LIGHT UP!
Touching the soft pink unicorn feels like tapping a giant rainbow in the sky. When I'm feeling alone, I dream of a cupcake that invites me to a birthday party or a park. Just imagine a heart-warming restful bedcover. Well, home means to me, family, gathering, passion and respect.
