Meaning of Home

Home is a place where you feel warmth, belonging, comfort, happiness, and joy. It is the place where you feel safe. Home is where you share your memories with your family, relatives, friends, and neighbours. Every corner of home reminds you of something special. Home is the only place that never leaves your mind. No matter how far you go or where you travel, you always feel that you must return to it. Home is the first school for a human being. It is the first place where we learn how to walk, eat, and speak. It is the first place that teaches us who we are and gives us our identity. Home is like a bird’s nest. This is a strong and meaningful comparison. A bird living in its nest can fly freely, eat what it wants, and feel that it belongs there. But a bird in a cage may have food and water, yet it does not have freedom. Home is the place where we feel free. Home is a homeland for every person because every person begins from their home.
