Canada is My Home

Home is a place of comfort and warmth. A place to get away from the true cold in the north. Where hot chocolates are decorated with marshmallows and whipped cream. a place of safeness. A place to be seen. A shelter, to protect me from my worst fears. In my home, joy replaces tears. a time of coldness and flu, but my home heals me so I feel healthy and new. Winter can be such a freezing mess, but such a beautiful glimmer of ice, I’d have to confess. Canadian, strong and proud. My country, my home, my family, my crowd. Home is everything to me, a place where I'm safe, and free. To me, home is my own world to explore, a place that has its own unique and special lore. I love my house and my family that makes it a home. My favourite part? It’s my beloved place to roam. I love the fresh winter air that makes me shiver, I love the summer breeze that makes the trees quiver. The national anthem, my home is a melody. I love my home, a place of prosperity. Every year I've spent, every step that I built up courage to take. My home and my family helped me do it, and nobody can call that fake. A home, built up of cherished memories and love, sometimes I can just feel it, in the palm of my glove. The things home has taught me that helped me to be who I am today, the things home has provided me with that will never go away.
