My Home is Not Just a House

My home to me is a safe place where I can feel like I am in a safe environment, where I know I am okay. Where I feel like I am comfortable, so I can relax, I can sit on my bed and chill. You know, on a bad day, you can go to read. Lie down on your bed and sleep. To me, my home is not just a house. It is somewhere where I have my family, somewhere I feel comfortable, where I am safe, with people I love. I don't want my home to be a house with luxury stuff. I want my home to have people I love in it for me to feel cozy in it. That’s what makes my home a home to me. I think one of the most important things is memories. The memories you bring, the memories you take, any memories that you make. When you move and lose the memories that you made, it’s hard, but you make new memories. I am just so thankful for all the things I have, like my family, food, a bed, a roof, my friends, and so, so much more. I just really know for a fact that everyone deserves a home. That’s why my home is not just a house; it is, in fact, my home.
