Meaning of Home

Home to me is not just a building with walls and a door. It's a place where you can feel loved, safe and have fantastic memories. I feel loved at home when my mom and dad are there because they make me delicious dinner. When my mom cooks dinner it feels like a chef just cooked for me. I’m lucky that I get food because there are people that don’t get food. Another reason I feel loved is when my dad plays video games with me we call it wednesday night gaming. I feel loved when my dad and mom are there. They make me feel like I belong. They make me feel amazing. I feel safe at home when my dog is there. The reason why is because she is huge. She also has an intense bark. My dog will scare the people off. I feel safe at home because it keeps me away from the cold. But I feel bad for some people because they have to sleep outside in the pitch black and in the cold. It's safe at my house because he used to be a body guard. My favorite thing about home is all the fantastic memories. In my home there are many happy, funny and sad memories. Like when my mom put a pie in my face. It was even funnier when my little brother got stuck in a tree for an hour. The three main topics I wrote about were loved,safe and memories. I chose those because there's a lot of love in my home. There are also a lot of memories in my house.
