The Meaning of Home

The meaning of home is family that I always spent time with, memories that get built up like a puzzle, piece by piece. I see the roof that is protecting my family's head from harsh weather. I see my brother and sisters are playing in the family room. My mom and dad are going to work for the family. My grandparents opened the door to take care of us. My big brother goes outside to clean the driveway when it is snowing. If I feel a house it is a bed that is soft as cotton candy, and comfy as a cloud. The feeling of the soft carpet I am walking through with bare feet. The feeling I am warm and comfortable like I am in a comfy blanket. Something special to me that makes me feel comfortable. If a house was a taste it would be my mom cooking delicious food in the kitchen. The taste of food that I put in my mouth when the table is ready. The taste of a good feeling I always feel in my heart. If a house is a smell it is the smell of the food my mom cooks from the kitchen. The clean refreshing air I breathe through. The smell of my clothes my mom washes from the washing machine. If a house is a sound it is the sink spilling water, if my throat is thirsty or dried like a hot desert. The sound of the washing machine spinning around, lastly the sound of my family talking and laughing that I love.
