Not Just a Shelter

Home is a place where I feel valued. But if you step in, you will see more than a house. It is packed with memories, moments of laughter, and everyday life. Every picture on the wall displays our hand crafted snapshots of our lives. Home is like a canvas where you get to paint little moments that turn magical. Home is a place that gives you warmth through all the hugs and family movie nights. It gives you a sense of belonging because of the late night talks and horrible dad jokes. Home is a place to be yourself. It is where you are seen and understood. If something happens, home is where I will go. I am grateful for all the little things in my home, because without it, where would I go? A home is not just a shelter. It is a place where I am joyful to return.
