What Home Means To Me
Home isn’t just a building to me. It is a place of comfort and love. It is not just a pile of bricks on the ground. My home makes me feel happy. I love my home more than anything.
To me, home means to be with my family. Home means being at the table for dinner. To be playing with my sister outside. Also, to be snuggled up with my cat when it’s cold out while sipping Hot Chocolate. A home is the heart of a happy family!
When I'm at home I hear my family chatting while my cat meows for food. I see my sister playing with toys and also making a mess while doing it. You could also hear me singing or Highland Dancing downstairs. You could feel my family’s hands around you for a big hug. Then, you would be tasting dinner in the evening.
A home is a main necessity. However, some people don’t have a home, or are struggling to get food. This can shatter a perfect family and add stress to their lives. Some people take their home for granted. If you are not careful, it can be ripped out of your hands.
I want to give a big thank you to Habitat For Humanity for helping people to get to the end of their struggles, and get a home.
