A home that’s just right

A home. a home feels like a place that l could never let go of, a place that brings me warmth and a place that brings me nostalgia from the Philippines. I'm born in Winnipeg but it feels like l should be living in the Philippines. It just feels right. The smell of the filipino food from my mom cooking it in the kitchen, the screams from my brother's game and don't forget the girl calling her friends to play games and have fun in her room. Although this might not be the place I call only home, lt still is a place l can call home. My home might not be perfect but it's still filled with love, forgiveness and trust oh and don’t forget fun. l always come home to loving parents and a greeting of food and l can never express how grateful I am to have such loving parents to give me such a loving and trusted home. Mom and dad l know that l’ll move out of the house one day and I just want to say thank you for having me as a daughter. I am so thankful for your love and support and the house that you have let me live in. Love you mom and dad.
