Home

Home is where your family is. It’s where you are loved, happy and where you feel safe. For me home is a comfort place, it protects you from the scary world outside. If you are having a bad day at work, home welcomes you with open arms and that homey feeling. It's a place where you can be yourself and nobody judges you. It’s there for you no matter where you go. If you move to another home, your old home will always be your home. Even if there is another family living in it. For me, home is a place where you can express your emotions, you can cry or be really happy. It’s a place that will never betray you. Unlike a house, a house doesn’t make you feel welcome or safe. You can’t express your emotions without feeling judged or be yourself. Home can be anything that makes you feel safe, like for some people home is a sack or a tent. Or maybe that doesn’t even feel like home. So just remember, at least you have a place to call home. That is what home means to me. Thank you.
