Home is More Than a Place to Live

Home is special to me because it provides clean water for drinking, healthy food for eating, and a family that loves and cares for me so much. We have so many family traditions like every sunday me and my mom bake yummy chocolate chip muffins. Or every christmas eve we go to my family’s house and have supper and open presents and it makes me so happy. Home is where happiness Home is a place where I smell my moms warm turkey soup well I lay on my cozy couch and snuggle up in my special blanket my brother gave me when I was born. When my family has a meal we all sit at the table and talk about our day. It makes me feel so loved. My home has 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a laundry room, and a rec room where my dad stores all his guitars. Home is where I took my first steps and where I grew up.home is where my heart is. When I have a home and a loving family it makes me feel so happy. Thank you so much habitat and humanity for making beautiful shelters for the people in need.
