What Makes A House A Home
A home is just more than a house. It’s a place you can rely on a relative or your closest friends with physical or even mental issues that you struggle with, from time to time. When I imagine home I envision the quality and bonding time with the family that means EVERYTHING to me. From the struggles and heartbreaks to the most caring and enjoyable memories of my life. Whenever I go home there's always someone there to talk to about my personal struggles or even cry if I feel it's needed. For me a home is where my favorite mindset is. It’s somewhere I can't feel judged for the way I want to act, feeling I have or even the clothes I wear. In my heart, deep down, I know my home is where I belong for no matter what reason. When I go back to reflect on the memories I know best, I imagine the summer days my family and I would drive to my Grandmother's house. As her dog would be wagging her tail adorably waiting for her special treat. When little me would dart into her house my Grandmother would get a bundle of joy as my caring, little arms wrapped around her to give a hug she always waits for. Every time I see my family I go to the times me and my family would go and bake homemade cookies from the recipe book my Grandma used when she was young. My family and I also love to go fishing in the summer. We always wait and see who can catch the biggest fish. As I get older and realize some day I'll have to make a home of my own. I have come to the realization that I have to cherish every moment of what is really my home.
