A house is not a home

A house has shiny new furniture but a home has a warm cozy place that you feel safe. A house is a structure but a home is a place that's full of love and laughter. A house can have lots of space to move around but in a home you can be you. A house is a place that might be quiet but a home is loud and full of happiness. A home to me is a place that holds memories like playing in our pool on a hot sunny day or my dog playing in the mud. My home has family my mom , dad, my sister and pets. My home is the place that I love and I'm loved in. To me home means the place where I go after a long day and the place I go to celebrate achievements. My home tastes like a warm meal made for me. My home looks like my puppies running around. My home smells like freshly made muffins out of the oven. My home feels like my puppies snuggling on the couch. My home sounds like laughter.
