What Home Means to Me

Home is somewhere I can trust people and feel happy with my family members. I play Monopoly in the living room with my family. We are always laughing and feeling excited. We all get competitive to win! Home is a safe place because my family members can protect me. When I hurt my knee, my dad took away the pain by putting on some ice. Home is everything to me because my mom, dad and my brother Sami play with me. Sami and I play soccer in the summer. We also play American football. When I get home from school I smell my mom's delicious cooking. When I'm struggling, my parents help me out with it. They make me understand the topic. No matter what, they will always be by my side.This thought makes me feel protected, safe and cared for. I would never take home for granted.
