What Does Home Mean to Me!

Home is a place where I am loved, cared for, and feel like I belong. Home is where my family and I are there together. A house is just a structure but home is where I do most of my stuff like sleeping, resting, sketching, playing piano, and eating. I think that home is more than a structure, it is a gathering place and a safe place. My home means my family, the delicious food we eat, the radio music, the dishes clacking and bonking, and the sound of water rushing through the tap. My family and I on Fridays eat chips and listen to music. My family and I have a tradition, like on January first we discuss our goals as a family. Usually my brother and I play checkers, chess, and Snakes and Ladders. Once, my brother and I played chess and I won so he got mad and almost broke the chess board! Home is a meaningful place to me.
