What is the Meaning Of Home?

Home is a place where I feel safe and protected, away from toxic people. I taste fresh, crispy turkey and mashed potatoes in my mouth on Christmas dinner. I touch the dense, firm bath bomb as I am about to put it in the bath tub, smelling the vanilla, coconut scented bath bomb. I see my beautiful mother that has raised and taken care of me since I was born. I hear “Shake it Off” by Taylor Swift playing on my speaker as I am dancing with my family. I am so grateful and happy for this home. I can play board games with my family after dinner. It’s a place that makes me feel loved and cared. I get to rest in my cozy, soft bed with all my stuffies around me. I get to make memories with my friends and family. I get to watch movies with my family while eating popcorn in my living room. I get breakfast, lunch, and dinner everyday. I get a clean, beautiful home that has a roof over my head. And habitat for humanity lets everyone have a chance to get a home like mine.
