What is home

For me Home is my safe space. When my mom comes home from work I feel joy inside. For me, home is somewhere where I can be myself, somewhere I can dress like myself and where I can be weird. Home is a place that I feel love, a place that I feel wanted, a place where I want to be all day long. I've never had any better home than this. My home is the best, maybe not the best for others but my home is the best for me. The food that my mom cooks is the best food I could ever taste. When I have a long day at school I can go home and be happy again. I love my home so much. The water’s warm as the hugs my mom gives me and they're pretty warm hugs. When I'm at other people's house I don't really feel the same as when I'm at my house, and the most special part when I'm at my house is my mom and her hugs. It’s not the same when I'm at someone else's house with their mom. My home is a place where I sleep where I feel comfortable. My bed is comfy. Anika D.W.
