MY MEANING OF HOME

There are many meanings of Home in the endless void of literature, but none of them could ever describe how it means to me. My meaning of home is more like the sea, its complex, it changes, it never stays the same, its mood unexpectedly shifts from a still calm to a turbulent anger when a storm hits. But despite its never ending flaws and problems, people still love it, they use it as their motivation, their inspiration, their comfort zone. The point of this comparison is that my opinion of the sea is my meaning of home. The sea is scary, it's uncomfy, but on some days, it can be kind, it can be quiet, it can be still, and it can be loving. Just like at home, it's a gamble trying to figure out what mood my family is in sometimes, just like how it's a gamble trying to figure out how the sea would be like when sailing, but when I see the laughing, smiling faces of my dad, mom, sister, brother which reminds me of the calm waves of salt water splashing against sandy shores at the beach, it's all worth it in the end.
