My Home is Not Just a House

Home is a safe place where there is joy, love and laughter in the air. Home is not a building, it is where you get your confidence and courage. Home is a place where you can just be in your pajamas with no make up on and when you are scared you have family to comfort you. Home is where you have warm food already made and clean water with a clean bed to sleep in. Home is where you have each other. You have a room for privacy with a yard to play in. A living room to have family bonding time. You have toys to play with when you are bored. You have a sibling to say you look pretty or handsome. Home is where you have memories and a pet that can know what you are feeling. Home is where you have family that supports you when you are feeling down. They will bring you back up and when you come home from school you smell something good cooking on the grill and you see the delicious food. Home is where you have to go to sports no matter what and your parents are supporting you and driving you when they are sick. When someone is bullying you, your family makes you feel like no one was ever bullying you. Home is a place where you love and look forward to going. Home is where you get ready with your family and laugh and make memories. That is what home feels like to me. I LOVE HOME🏠
