What Does Home Mean to Me?
A house has four walls. A home is more than that. A home is not a building made of bricks and wood. It is a special place for me and my family. It's a place where we share our lives and make unforgettable memories. My home is where I feel safe, loved and respected. I know I can come home and feel comforted no matter what kind of day I have. In my home I like sleeping in my bed, eating with my family, playing games and sometimes arguing with my siblings. We do not always agree but we care about each other. One time we broke a wall, which became a family story that we still laugh about. Moments like that make my home special and full of love. In my home I have a strong sense of belonging because I feel like I am always safe, respected and valued. My family listens to me and helps me. That is what makes my house a home. It is filled with love, memories and people who care about me and my family. My home is a home because of my family. That's what home means to me!
