Home is More Than Just Brick

Home is not just brick. Home is more than furniture and a brick house, it’s memories and laughter. Home warms your heart and reminds you of memories: the good, the bad, the sad, the painful and the happy. Sometimes you might come home from a bad day at school but you know it’s ok because there are people to love and hold you. Home is fun like when you are having family movie night and you get snacks and watch a movie while you play a board game. Or, in the summer when you play in the sprinkler and then come inside and run upstairs so you don’t get the floor wet. Home is when you smell the food your parents are making for dinner. Home is when you're sick and your parents stay home to take care of you. And that's what home means to me. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for building homes for people to make their own memories.
