Why My Home is Special to Me

Do you have a place called home? A place or community you can look forward to after a long day? Let me tell you about my special place! But first, let me introduce myself. Hi, my name is Augustine Cui, and I am writing this from Cummer Valley Middle School. I am proud to be here and at home. My house consists of 3 floors! I know, it's pretty big compared to some other houses. Until you realize it's a townhouse, but it’s still big, and I’m very grateful for it. On the first floor, there is a wonderful place where beautiful dishes are created with care and love. The scents have me floating there day and out! I bet you can tell what part of the house that is. Yep, it's the kitchen, and if you haven’t guessed, yet it's my favourite part of the house. Then there is my living room. I sit on the couch to watch the best show in my opinion (ONE PIECE). Moving on to the second floor, this place is where I sleep. Play and do many other things! This floor is my room, almost entirely, of course, except for the bathroom and dishwashers, MINE! I love this room, and I mean, who wouldn’t? Having your own personalized floor for yourself seems pretty great in my opinion. Finally, there is my third floor, where everyone else in the house sleeps, plays, etc. In short, it’s simply just a bunk bed for my mom and brother, along with a queen's bed for my dad (I know, right, so greedy). In conclusion, I think everyone deserves a home or a place where they feel safe and welcomed. Thank you for reading Why My Home is Special to Me.
