What Home Means to Me
Home isn't just an ordinary building with walls, windows and doors.
My house is a building where I feel cozy, loved, calm, happy, and safe.
My home is calm like watching raindrops splash on my window.
My home is filled with happiness like playing with my little sister.
My home is cozy like wrapping myself in a comfy warm blanket on a cold winter day.
Home can feel like a lot of emotions.
My house has objects that feel special too.
Some objects that make home feel special are family photos, my bed where I get goodnight greetings, the dining table where we eat delicious meals my dad prepares, and the couch where me and my family watch movies.
My home has had so many memories made in it.
My little sister grew up in my home from the age 0-to her age now.
Some memories that will never be forgotten are Christmas mornings, waking up to the scent of my parents coffee before we open our gifts, New Year’s Eve where my dad makes amazing barbeque flavored meatballs, playing "Scattergories" with my cousin and parents, and having my Nana come over whenever its someone's birthday and she cooks delicious meals of our choice. It doesn't matter how big or how small, or how short or tall my home is, the only thing that matters are the memories made in it.
That is what home means to me!
